The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Partner Marketing Manager to lead our partner marketing strategy and execution. The right candidate is an excellent communicator with a background in partner marketing for SaaS companies. This role reports to the Head of Marketing.

Who you are:

  • You have a strong understanding of all marketing activities, including content, events, social, and sponsorships, and how they intersect with partner marketing initiatives
  • Test & learn is your default mindset
  • You love diving into the numbers and have a proven track record of analyzing marketing activities and identifying actionable insights to improve them
  • You are partner-first, which means you appreciate that partnerships require value to be delivered in both directions
  • You also advocate internally at EcoCart for partners--actively seeking opportunities to incorporate partners into broader marketing activities
  • You collaborate easily with colleagues on the marketing team or peers across the partnerships, sales and other teams at EcoCart
  • You have experience with ecommerce SaaS companies, specifically. You’ve worked in a Partner Marketing Role at one of these companies before.

In this role you will:

  • Build our partner marketing function from early stages and own the strategic and tactical execution of building our brand and funnel with partners
  • Build and execute on our partner marketing strategy in collaboration with colleagues across teams, own marketing relationships with partners, and create exceptional joint content and joint events with our partners
  • Develop a program that allows us to market with and through our strategic partners - spanning agencies and systems integrators (SI), software companies, and ecommerce platform partners
  • Work to understand our partners’ value propositions and create compelling joint value propositions
  • Create joint partner content spanning integration, case studies, and thought leadership to showcase the partnership
  • Collaborate across the marketing team to execute on joint partner events, content, and other activities
  • Work directly with the Head of Marketing and report on the success of partner marketing programs and activities as they relate to the overarching marketing goals

We are looking for 🔍

  • 3-5 years experience in partner marketing at a B2B ecommerce SaaS company.
  • A master collaborator who knows how to effectively initiate action and build relationships internally and externally.
  • Someone empathetic to the customer and partner experience - Constantly on the lookout for opportunities that are attractive to customers, partners and EcoCart.
  • Organizational skills to move ideas forward into value-generating campaigns. 
  • A deep love for process and organizational tools
  • Analytical aptitude. Someone who knows their way around Excel and Google Sheets and naturally gravitates towards solving problems and presenting opportunities using data.

Bonus points 🚀

  • Familiarity with marketing channels including email marketing, performance marketing, social media marketing, SEO, brand, product marketing, community events and more
  • Ability to lead campaign conception without direction from content or brand marketing teams.
