Responsibilities:
- Become an early member of Apollo’s Partnerships team (which is currently a one-person team)
- Report directly to the Director of Partnerships
- Support with developing, managing, and owning Apollo’s partnership strategy and ecosystem of partners
- Recruit, build, and establish relationships with customers, consultants, venture capitalists, accelerators, and technology partners to acquire new customers for Apollo
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Customer Support, and Revenue Operations teams
- Help build out and scale Apollo’s four main partnership programs: Affiliates, Technology, Agency, and Startup Ecosystem
- Partner with the Sales team in coordinating and closing partner-driven opportunities to ensure we meet and exceed monthly targets
- Successfully project manage the launch and integration of partnerships
Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in any form of a partnerships or sales role
- Expertise in, or ability to quickly learn, tools such as PartnerStack, Crossbeam or Reveal, and Salesforce
- An active relationship builder who can collaborate effectively with internal and external teams
- Experience working on affiliate, technology, agency, and startup ecosystem partner programs
- Blended “hunter/farmer” mindset with the ability to cultivate partner referral opportunities while also cultivating long-term partner relationships
- Ability to think strategically AND roll up your sleeves to get things done
- A track record of developing and growing strategic partnerships at the executive level as well as high-volume partnerships
- Strong ability to interact and influence effectively with C-level executives and team members
- High energy with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter and ability to work independently
- Ability to negotiate
