This role will report to the VP of Sales and is responsible for the sales related partner activities. You will manage relationships with the cloud vendors, and ensure we are the preferred vector database partner for all Cloud partners. You will have had experience with various sales related activities with cloud technology partners. These partners include the LLM companies (Open AI, Cohere, Hugging Face, etc.), DataLake/Warehouse companies (Databricks, Snowflake, etc.), Development Tool Vendors (LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.) and many others, so that Pinecone is the preferred Vector Database for cloud companies to leverage joint sales opportunities.
Must Have:
- At least 2 years experience working directly with the Cloud Providers Marketplace Programs.
- Has experience developing, managing and deepening relationships with technology / Cloud partners in the infrastructure software space for B2C companies
- Ability to collaborate with sales organization to facilitate account mapping and field-level relationships
- Understastand MEDDPPICC
- Worked with cross-functional teams: marketing, product and sales
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
Preferred:
- Experience working in database/search experience
- Experience with a PLG GTM strategy
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in a partner or sales role; carrying a quota
- Has experience executing on a technology partnership strategy
- Worked for a successful high growth startup (series A, B or C)
