Partner Development Manager
Job Description
Position Summary:
The Partner Development Manager is responsible for managing our strategic Channel Partners on a day to day basis, including generating net-new sales, supporting daily go to market motions, executing a renewal strategy, and effectively enabling our partners to sell and support services at Trapp Technology. The position will be responsible for developing on-going relationships with C-level executives, co-selling with our partners, facilitating support motions, as well as articulate the Trapp Technology value proposition. The Partner Development Manager will be primarily focused on developing and executing strategies with established Partners, including new revenue, day to day support, and long-term initiatives. The position will be expected to be able to execute strategic account or partner management tactics, and be prepared to learn and adopt new Channel strategies. Additional responsibilities include:
- Develop, drive, and execute a partner development plan within an assigned territory
- Onboard and develop strategic relationships with partners with sales, marketing, operations and technical personas, including C-level executives
- Assist and direct partners in their go to market strategies with ArmorPoint, including co-marketing and co-selling motions
- Clearly understand and articulate the ArmorPoint value proposition to partners and clients
- Manage an existing book of business, including operational and renewal support
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of our products and services, our competition, and our strengths over our competition
- Follow the latest industry trends and developments and stay up to date on vendor solutions as well as industry competition
- Effectively communicate Partners needs, including market trends, to the Executive Team
- Maintain a clean and organized CRM (Salesforce)
- Document and maintain detailed notes on new prospects, meetings and qualification specifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required
- 5+ years of Channel Sales, Cybersecurity sales, or B2B sales, required
- 3 years of IT or Cybersecurity Industry experience, preferred.
- Ability to complete multiple tasks and manage multiple clients within deadlines
- Superb proofreading skills
- Ability to reach out to prospects through cold calling, video conferencing, or other means
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Provides strong customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Exceptional organization and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Independent, self-starting, team player with a positive attitude
Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This job may require handling objects up to 10 pounds frequently and 20 pounds occasionally. While performing the duties described herein, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers to handle or feel in addition to talking and hearing. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Office environment is normally climate-controlled.
