We are seeking a Channel Sales BDM in Sydney & Melbourne.
As our Channel Sales BDM you will be working on driving growth and expanding our market presence in the realm of Cisco and Microsoft and carriage related technologies. You will have a deep understanding of UCaaS and CCaaS solutions, a proven track record in channel sales, and a strategic approach to building and nurturing channel partner relationships.
As an integral part of the UCaaS and CCaaS Solutions teams, the Channel Sales BDM will play a pivotal role in shaping Symbio’s success within the Cisco and Microsoft technology landscape. You will need to be a proactive sales leader with a passion for building partner relationships and driving revenue growth.
What you’ll do as a Channel Sales BDM:
- Promote, develop, and expand one-on-one communications within assigned channel partners and their customers in alignment with Symbio's partner program and strategic direction.
- Strengthen individual stakeholder relationships at all levels to drive increased demand generation and revenue growth, enhancing interest through partner events while also expanding revenue opportunities.
- Conduct quarterly business review meetings within the assigned partner base to ensure all objectives are met, sales targets are reached and to maintain regular business and cadence objectives.
- Develop, lead, and implement a comprehensive account strategy plan for UCaaS and CCaaS solutions within the Cisco and Microsoft technology landscape for each designated channel partner, integral to achieving the overarching channel sales strategy and revenue targets
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies related to UCaaS and CCaaS
- Possess an understanding of UCaaS and CCaaS solutions, particularly within the Cisco and Microsoft ecosystems and carriage PSTN connected audio.
- Conduct regular training sessions for partners to enhance their product knowledge and sales capabilities
What you'll need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is advantageous
- 2-5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the UC&C (Unified Communication and Collaboration) industry. Experience with partners, resellers, and distributors is a plus. Proficiency in Webex, Zoom, and MS Teams is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to formulate and execute successful channel sales strategies, driving revenue growth and product awareness. Proven experience in negotiating contracts and agreements with partners, including established connections with key partners
- In-depth comprehension of the UCaaS/CCaaS market, encompassing trends, challenges, competitors, and technologies like cloud-based communication platforms, VoIP, PSTN/SIP Trunking, and networking.
- Willingness to travel, around 20% of the working time, for partner meetings, conferences, and industry events.
- Established track record in channel sales, especially within UCaaS, CCaaS, or related technology solutions.
- Strong grasp of Cisco and Microsoft UCaaS and CCaaS offerings.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication aptitude, adept at building and nurturing relationships across all levels.
- Strategic thinker capable of identifying market opportunities and crafting effective sales strategies.
- Results-oriented mindset focused on achieving and surpassing sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales performance metrics.
- Flexibility for travel to partner meetings, conferences, and industry events as required.
