Key Responsibilities

  • Outline mutual goals alongside key partners and map out a strategy to achieve them
  • Work closely with cross functional partners to execute on co-marketing roadmaps
  • Think creatively of new ways to partner, tell a better 1+1>2 story, and influence partners to prioritize Deputy.
  • Participate in sales trainings, webinars, lunch n learns, conferences with partners
  • Influence the Partner Marketing roadmap to create high value content for our partnership ecosystem.
  • Bring the various stakeholders together to help build collective mindshare in augmenting Deputy solutions.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive GTM plans with our channel partners, which manifest in quality net-new business pipeline.
  • Track pipeline metrics and maintain dashboards that communicate the effectiveness of channel distribution with our partners.
  • Set regular meetings with key partners to discuss performance towards goals (QBR’s etc.).
  • Own a quarterly revenue quota that is driven through VARs and partner sourced deals.


  • 2+ years working in a Partner Manager / BD / strategic account management role
  • Entrepreneurial with a bias towards action.
  • Resourceful, understand that start-ups have limited resources. This doesn’t phase or discourage you, rather it's more of an opportunity to solve problems. 
  • Process oriented. You like processes and if there are gaps, you build processes. You really don't like having to re-teach from scratch every time. 
  • Work well autonomously and know when to reach out to your team / cross-functional partners to accelerate learning and outcomes.
  • Coachable and like learning new ways of working. That said, we want your input on strategy, so please don't be afraid to share your point of view. 
  • Can build relationships quickly and understand how to identify the right contacts at an organization to strengthen ties with.
  • Have a revenue focused mindset but understand that partnerships are best served when solving mutual problems for mutual gain.

Bonus points for

  • Experience with Workforce Management, HR Tech.
  • Consulting experience with top-tier firms.
  • Have ever started your own company, regardless of whether it was a “success” or “failure” (who gets to decide that anyway).
