The Deputy Partnerships / BD team is seeking a motivated Sr. Manager Partner Programs & Marketing that is excited about building and growing a unique partnership plan with a clear strategy.

The Sr. Manager Partner Programs & Marketing will report to the Sr. Director, Global Partnerships and will work closely with the partner team, sales, marketing, to build a scalable partner program at Deputy.  

The Manager, Partner Programs & Operations will have two core Program responsibilities: referral program & Integration Partner Infrastructure. Partnerships cover ISV Product Partnerships (Payroll, POS, HRIS) and long-tail referrals (bookkeepers, accountants, HR consultants)

This is a remote role (working from home), so we are totally happy for you to be based anywhere in the USA.

Job Duties

  • Build a 0 to 1 low-touch / automated Referral program using Partnerstack in the US (think bookkeepers / accountants, HR consultants, staffing firms)
  • Own and maintain our newly implemented PRM (Partnerstack) including creating custom cadences, self-serve onboarding program, automate engagement with long-tail partners
  • A/B test and optimize content, incentives, and campaigns to drive the programs revenue growth
  • Measure, socialize, and update the company on progress with the Referral Program
  • Work closely with Strategic Partner Managers to build an outward facing program material
  • Operationalize internal processes to unlock Partner Manager capacity where they can focus on partner strategy / revenue outcomes
  • Set a foundation to scale Product Partnerships enabling long-tail integration partners to self-serve and manage lead registration, enablement, rev-share
  • Create repeatable, high-value partner enablement tools
  • Build and manage Partner Marketing roadmaps, working with regional Marketing teams to quarterback and execute on co-marketing initiatives. Measure relentlessly.


  • 3-5+ years’ experience working with partner programs + marketing 
  • Strong operational and organizational experience taking concepts to repeatable execution plans
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong relationship/team building and account management skills 
  • Leadership qualities that reflect a self-motivated individual with the ability to work as part of a team 
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment with a dynamic range of people
  • Ability to think and plan strategically, and use data to make decisions
  • Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work well independently and collaborate effectively with a team
  • Must be detail-oriented and understand how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment and focus on the delivery of results

Bonus Points for:

  • Experience with Workforce Management, HR Tech.
  • Experience with top-tier consulting firms and or operations in a marketplace technology company in an operations capacity (ie Uber, DoorDash) 
  • Have ever started your own company, regardless of whether it was a “success” or “failure” (who gets to decide that anyway).
